荣膺团体亚军和季军!多名学生斩获最佳领导力奖、最佳演讲人奖、最有价值员工奖等个人大奖!在8月17日圆满落下帷幕的2025全球未来太空学者大会(GFSSM)决赛中,武汉爱莎再次闪耀星空。
赛事以《在火星岩管中建设一座容纳5000人的城市》为挑战任务,要求参赛选手在24小时内完成从概念到方案的构建,其难度堪比NASA新员工压力测试。武汉爱莎菁英与来自澳大利亚、巴基斯坦、泰国以及中国北京十一学校、杭州外校、苏州外校等20余所名校的300余名选手同台竞技。
在这场跨文化与直面人类难题的对战中,爱莎学子凭借扎实的学识、非凡的创造力及卓越的团队协作,从强手如林的赛场中强势突围!

Winning Second and Third Place in the Team Awards! Several students also received top individual honors, including the Best Leadership Award, Best Speaker Award, and Most Valuable Participant Award! At the grand finale of the 2025 Global Future Space Scholars Meet (GFSSM) on August 17, ISA Wuhan once again shone brightly among the stars.
The competition challenged participants to design a city capable of housing 5,000 people within Martian lava tubes, requiring teams to develop a complete plan from concept to proposal within just 24 hours—an intensity comparable to NASA’s new-employee stress test. Elite students from ISA Wuhan competed alongside more than 300 participants representing over 20 renowned schools from Australia, Pakistan, Thailand, and leading institutions in China such as Beijing National Day School, Hangzhou Foreign Language School, and Suzhou Foreign Language School.
In this cross-cultural battle against humanity’s grand challenges, ISA students distinguished themselves with solid knowledge, extraordinary creativity, and outstanding teamwork, rising above a field of formidable contenders.

At 3 a.m., the sound of keyboards echoed through the arena as Martian data collided with ideas, and the structural blueprint of a lava tube base rapidly took shape on screen. 'The gravity simulation system must withstand meteorite impacts!'—the heated debate between Galaxy Pioneers’ President Wan and Vice President Xi pushed the tension of the finals to its peak.
In this ultimate challenge of bidding for the construction of the Martian settlement 'Aresom' in the year 2075, ISA students demonstrated their outstanding ability to apply knowledge and remarkable integrated strength. With scientific thinking, they deconstructed zero-gravity ecosystems; with engineering expertise, they refined the blueprint; through innovation, they transformed stardust into a quantum shield; and with business acumen, they orchestrated the grand strategy. While others were still grinding through test papers, ISA students were already exploring how to send humanity into space.

Their excellence also won high praise from the judges: The team led by Chen, President of 'Lunar Express,' built a 'comprehensive AI design system that demonstrated solid knowledge reserves and outstanding creativity.' Du, President of 'Orbital Industries,' coordinated the overall strategy, while Director Xiao Tianrui responded to the defense with agility and composure. When questioned by judges on 'why the design focused on a single-passenger transport system,' Zhang referred to blueprints and delivered a clear, logical explanation and argument.
This composure and professionalism under high pressure stem from the IB curriculum’s rigorous training in critical thinking and communication, as well as the STEAM program’s emphasis on trial, error, and iteration to build interdisciplinary integration and resilience. In preparation for this competition, these dream-driven students, under the guidance of their teachers, transformed from curious beginners into passionate and insightful young scientists. More important than winning the competition is the growth and refinement beyond the awards. They gained global leadership honed through cross-cultural exchange, resilience and courage forged under pressure, team cohesion built through close collaboration, and the ability to transfer knowledge into practice—these are the invaluable qualities the competition has bestowed upon them.
