At King’s, we strive to ensure every child gains a meaningful learning experience,  acquires various vital abilities and grows into a self-motivated lifelong learner. To this end, King’s fully implements the IB PYP (Primary Years Programme) for young children, integrates the requirements of the national education curriculum and creatively builds a diverse and challenging curriculum system that is committed to providing high-quality international education for children.

金生将课程视为师生共同创造的“教育经验”，课程方案每学年都会得到更新，除了融合IB课程的最新要求，期间还经历了多重反思与协作历程。

King’s regards the curriculum as an "educational experience" jointly created by teachers and students. The Programme of Inquiry is updated every school year. In addition to integrating the latest requirements of the IB curriculum, it also undergoes multiple reflection and collaboration processes. 

From the teaching management team to key teachers of grade groups, from class teachers to children and also from the kindergarten to parents. Every member of the learning community actively participates, expressing their thoughts and expectations, which fully reflects the dynamic cycle of Voice-Choice-Ownership.

与传统教学不同，IB通过具体、可衡量的成功标准(Success Criteria)来对孩子的主题学习成果进行评估，并反思其对概念的理解以及学习目标的达成。

At King’s, transdisciplinary inquiry-based learning ultimately lands on real and meaningful actions. These actions not only improve community well-being and expand cognitive boundaries but also provide an excellent opportunity for children to demonstrate independent thinking and learning initiative. 

Different from traditional teaching, IB evaluates children’s thematic learning outcomes through specific and measurable Success Criteria and reflects on their conceptual understanding and achievement of learning objectives.

金生学习者社区成员，特别是家长和社区人士，保持对主题探究过程的密切关注并参与其中，将自身也作为孩子探究学习的资源。

Members of the King’s learner community, especially parents and community members, pay close attention to and participate in the thematic inquiry process, regarding themselves as resources for children’s inquiry-based learning.

金生教师运用专业知识提炼关键性问题，从而启发孩子对主题的好奇心与探索兴趣，将语言（Language）、艺术（Arts）、科学（Science）、社会研究（Social studies），个人、社交与体育教育（PSE）这六大学习范畴融贯整个探究学习当中。

在IB世界学校，孩子常常思考的是“为什么”，而非“是什么”；孩子们不再是被动的知识接收容器，而是积极的探究者和交流者；学习结果也不仅仅是为了获得“知识”，而是借由学习过程形成产出性理解，激发学习的热情与内驱力。

King’s teachers use their professional knowledge to refine key questions, thereby inspiring children’s curiosity and exploration interest in the theme. They integrate the six learning areas: Language, Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Personal, Social and Physical Education (PSE) into the entire inquiry-based learning process.

In an IB World School, children often think about "why" rather than "what". They are no longer passive recipients of knowledge but active inquirers and communicators. Learning outcomes are not just about acquiring "knowledge” but about forming productive understanding through the learning process and stimulating enthusiasm and internal drive for learning.

IB课程强调学习方法（ATL）的培养，思考、研究、社交等五大技能及其从属技能形成了逻辑严密的架构，助力深度学习，培养可迁移的核心能力。

The IB curriculum emphasizes the cultivation of Approaches to Learning (ATL). The five major skills are: thinking, research, social, communication, and self-management. Their subordinate skills form a logically rigorous framework, facilitating in-depth learning and cultivating transferable core competencies.

King’s excellent teacher-student ratio makes high-quality personalised guidance for young children possible. For example, foreign teachers regularly conduct one-on-one assessments of children‘s reading comprehension and literacy skills as well as design various interesting guidance strategies at different levels to meet the learning rhythms and needs of different children.

我们将PYP课程实施框架、国家课程要求以及中华优秀传统文化进行深度融合，构建富有特色的金生课程体系，既保持IB的全球视野内核，又扎根本土文化，让幼儿在跨文化交流中一方面掌握胜任力，另一方面发展“文化根脉”，增进自我身份认同感。

We deeply integrate the PYP curriculum implementation framework, national curriculum requirements and excellent traditional Chinese culture to build a distinctive King‘s curriculum system. It not only maintains the core of IB‘s global perspective but also takes root in local culture, enabling children to acquire competence in cross-cultural communication while developing a "cultural root" and enhancing their sense of self-identity.

金生依据IB课程的评估方法，对幼儿进行多维度的动态评估，全面覆盖幼儿的身心发展、认知成长与素养养成等方面。此外，我们模拟真实世界的任务与挑战，让幼儿在问题解决的过程中展示优势智能。

Based on the assessment methods of the IB curriculum,King’s conducts multi-dimensional dynamic assessments of children, covering all aspects of their physical and mental development, cognitive growth and literacy skills. In addition, we simulate real-world tasks and challenges to allow children to demonstrate their strengths and intelligences in the process of problem-solving.

特别活动是幼儿直观感受多元文化的重要形式。为了帮助孩子们充分感受各类节日在不同文化中的地位与重要性，我们透过游戏、音乐、创作帮助孩子们感知与了解节庆的文化内涵，培养仪式感，体会日常生活中的趣味与美好。

Special Events are an important way for young children to intuitively experience diverse cultures. To help children fully understand the status and significance of various festivals in different cultures, we assist them in perceiving and comprehending the cultural connotations of festivals through games, music and creation. Fostering a sense of ritual and enabling them to appreciate the fun and beauty in daily life.

基于IB课程文化下开展的专科教学是金生的办学特色之一，包括但不限于：STEAM科学、健智体能、视觉艺术、绘本教育、音乐启蒙、木工课程、食育课堂，等等，它们既聚焦单一学科，又巧妙地与IB框架相结合，成为金生课程体系的组成之一。

Single Subjects classes are based on the IB curriculum culture and is one of King’s distinctive features. It includes but is not limited to: STEAM Course, PE Course, Visual Arts Course, Library Course, Music Course, Woodworking Course as well as Food Education Course and many more. These courses not only focus on individual disciplines but also skillfully integrate with the IB framework, becoming an integral part of King‘s curriculum system.

学无边界，金生的社会学研究期待破除幼儿园的围墙，为孩子提供充裕的时间、空间、资源，帮助他们在真实场景中探索社会规则，认识自我与社会的关系，涵养开放包容的学习态度。

我们依据与超学科主题的相关性，分别开展了诸如如何成为电影院放映员、探秘垃圾发电厂、走进深圳博物馆/深圳艺术馆等一批趣味研究项目；邀请到深圳宇树机器人AI团队、珠峰攀登者、观鸟专家、天文学博士、小提琴演奏家等世界各地前沿教育者莅临校园与孩子们互动并分享专业见解。

Learning has no boundaries. King’s Social Studies aim to break down the walls of the kindergarten, providing children with sufficient time, space and resources to explore social rules in real scenarios. It also allows children to understand the relationship between self and society and then cultivate an open and inclusive learning attitude.

Based on the relevance to transdisciplinary themes, we have launched a series of interesting research projects, such as "How to Become a Cinema Projectionist", "Exploring Waste-to-Energy Plants" and "Visiting Shenzhen Museum/Shenzhen Art Museum". We have also invited cutting-edge educators from around the world to the campus to interact with children and share professional insights, including the AI team from Shenzhen Unitree Robotics, Mount Everest climbers, bird-watching experts, astronomy doctors and violinists.

双语学习是发展幼儿跨文化沟通理解力的关键，更是塑造拥有国际视野人才的重要标志。金生基于全语言教育理念，打造融于生活的全浸式中英文环境，将语言模范融入幼儿学习的每一个细节。

我们设计了极为丰富的英文课程体系，为孩子们提供充足的聆听、表达、阅读与前书写的机会，充分激发他们学习母语与英语的自主性和内驱力。此外，金生资深英文教学团队乐于为家庭提供支持，在系列工作坊中，通过趣味互动与父母分享、研讨英文学习策略的关键话题。

Bilingual learning is key to developing young children’s cross-cultural communication and understanding. It is also an important symbol of nurturing talents with an international perspective. Based on the whole-language education concept, King’s creates an immersive Chinese-English environment integrated into daily life, incorporating language models into every detail of children‘s learning. We have designed a rich English curriculum system to provide children with ample opportunities for listening, speaking, reading, and pre-writing, fully stimulating their initiative and internal drive in learning both their native language and English.

In addition, King’s senior English teaching team is willing to provide support for families. In a series of workshops, they share and discuss key topics of English learning strategies with parents through interesting interactions.
