DKIA 第一学期的 CCA,从选课机制、时间安排到课程管理,每一步都藏着对 “成长规律” 的尊重:

选课机制:两周试课 + 跨领域
探索,拒绝 “盲目选择”
两周自由探索期,学生可体验全部所有CCA课程,引导学生思考“我擅长什么、喜欢什么、想探究什么”;要求至少选 3 门课程,打破单一兴趣局限,在跨领域中发现自己的兴趣、擅长和潜力。

时间安排:阶段性深耕 + 长期
延伸,拒绝 “浅尝辄止”
本学期第一阶段的CCA在9月15日至11月23日期间开放,保证学生深入学习形成系统认知,让学生深入一门课程,从“好奇”到“掌握”,同时预留后续学年的延伸空间,让热爱有机会长成专长。

清晰,拒绝 “玩过就算”
每门课都由老师们精心设计并提交教学计划,确保有清晰的能力培养目标与进阶路径,避免活动流于形式,确保“玩”的背后有“学”,“兴趣”之中藏“成长”。

在CCA的课堂上,学辩论不只是练口才,是学会“尊重不同观点”;做版画不只是学技法,是培养“从混乱到有序”的耐心;编代码不只是敲字符,是建立“拆解问题”的思维。
还有些学生在 CCA 里学会了 “面对挫折”:版画课上,有学生刻坏了木板,一开始想放弃,老师却让他 “试试在坏的地方改个图案”,最后成品反而多了创意;数学奥赛课上,学生解不出难题会着急,但老师会教他们 “把难题拆成小步骤,一步一步试”,慢慢培养出 “不轻易放弃” 的韧劲。
更重要的是,CCA 让孩子发现 “原来我还有这样的可能”。CCA 的意义远不止 “学一门技能”—— 在课程中,孩子会锻炼协作能力、坚毅力、领导力,塑造更全面的思维方式与认知习惯。那些 “选什么课” 的浅层选择,最终会转化为 “敢尝试、能坚持” 的成长力量。

At DKIA, CCA (Co-Curricular Activities) are not merely supplementary to academic courses—they stand alongside A-Level and AP programs as a core module of holistic education. We firmly believe that the ultimate goal of education is to help students find their unique voice to engage with the world, in an environment where they feel truly understood. DKIA’s CCA system is built around three pillars: diverse empowerment, personalized growth, and progressive skill development. It creates a complete educational ecosystem where interests become a second growth curve beyond academics.
We believe that exploration outside the classroom is just as important as learning within it. When students engage in debate, printmaking, or coding through CCA, they’re not just pursuing hobbies—they’re quietly cultivating essential future-ready competencies. These invisible wings will support them in academic challenges, career decisions, and social participation. Here, CCA provides fertile ground for every child to “find their true self,” transforming learning from passive reception into active growth.

Course Selection Mechanism: Trial
Classes + Cross-Disciplinary Exploration
A two-week exploration period allows students to experience all available CCA courses. This encourages reflection on what they’re good at, what they enjoy, and what they’re curious about. Students must choose at least three courses, breaking out of narrow interest zones to discover strengths and potential across disciplines.

In CCA classes:Debating isn’t just about speaking—it’s about learning to respect differing views. Printmaking isn’t just technique—it’s about cultivating patience from chaos to order.Coding isn’t just typing—it’s about developing problem-solving mindsets.
Some students even learn to face setbacks: In printmaking, one student ruined a woodblock and wanted to quit. The teacher encouraged them to “try turning the mistake into a new design,” and the final piece turned out more creative. In Math Olympiad, students often struggle with tough problems. Teachers guide them to break challenges into smaller steps, gradually building resilience and persistence.
Most importantly, CCA helps students realize: “I didn’t know I could do this.”It’s not just about acquiring a skill—it’s about developing collaboration, perseverance, and leadership, shaping broader thinking and habits.
