Good morning, everyone. Today, I want to tell you about something personal. I want to talk about my journey. I have been thinking about three things: Who am I?What is my purpose? How can I live a meaningful life? I have been asking myself: What is important? What makes me who I am?How can I help others, even in small ways?
At the same time, I have also been looking at the world around me. I have been thinking about people and places that do not always get attention. One of these is rural China — the countryside. There is a special day in China. It is called the Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival. It started in 2018. It is a day to celebrate farmers. There are about 465 million farmers in China. That is about one-third of the population. Many farmers work very hard. But they do not always get recognition or thanks. This festival helps change that. It puts farmers in the spotlight. It helps people see their work and their value. On this day, villages may get: Free health checks, Help with legal problems, Farming lessons and training , Fun activities and sports events led by farmers .
Also, farmers can sell their products in new ways. They use live streaming and online shops. They can sell fruits, vegetables, and other food directly to people in cities. Some farmers grow new kinds of fruit. For example, some pears are sweeter and last longer. Some crops that used to come from other countries are now grown in China.
This festival does more than celebrate. It also gives support, connection, and respect to farmers. What I learn from this is simple: We must see the value in things — even if they are small or common. We must connect the city and the countryside. We must connect producers (who make things) and consumers (who buy things). We must respect both old traditions and new ideas.
This reminds me of my own life. I have learned that meaning does not always come from big goals. Sometimes, it comes from small actions. It comes from paying attention. It comes from caring about real things and real people.
Who am I? I do not have all the answers. But I know this: I want to be someone who shows up. I want to be someone who pays attention. I want to be someone who helps with kindness and honesty. I want to live in a way that is true to myself — and also helps others. Our search for meaning does not have to be alone. We can do it together. We can learn, listen, and serve. And it all starts with caring.Thank you.

Good morning everyone,Today I want to talk about something simple, but very powerful — gratitude. Gratitude means being thankful for the people, things, and moments that make our lives better. It might sound small, but I believe it has the power to make both ourselves and others happier every day.
In my daily life, I try to express gratitude in many little ways.
For example, when my parents drive me to school or help me with homework, I don't just say "thanks" — I look them in the eyes and tell them, "I really appreciate it." When my teachers spend extra time explaining something difficult, I write a small note or say "thank you for your patience." When my friends share their snacks or listen to me when I'm upset, I make sure to show that I'm grateful — sometimes by helping them back, or even just giving them a big smile.
Another way I express gratitude is by noticing small things.
Every day, I try to think of at least three things I'm thankful for. It could be the sunny weather, a funny moment in class, or a warm meal at home. Doing this helps me realize how lucky I actually am, even when the day isn't perfect.
I also believe actions speak louder than words. So, I try to express gratitude through kind actions — like helping my mom with dishes without being asked, or complimenting someone's effort in a group project. These little things can make someone's day brighter, and that's a great way to say"thank you" without using words. Now, why is it important for us kids to express gratitude?
First, it helps us stay positive. When we focus on what we have, instead of what we don't, we feel more confident and content. Gratitude is like a lens that helps us see the good side of life.
Second, it builds stronger relationships. When we say "thank you," people feel appreciated. They're more likely to be kind and helpful in return. Gratitude creates a circle of kindness — it starts small, but it spreads far.
And finally, expressing gratitude reminds us not to take things for granted. We learn to respect the efforts behind what others do for us — from our teachers' hard work to our parents' endless care. That makes us more thoughtful and mature.
So, in conclusion, expressing gratitude doesn't have to be something big. It can be as simple as a smile, a thank-you, or a small act of kindness. But these small moments can make a big difference — not only in others' lives, but also in our own hearts.
Let's all try to make gratitude a habit — because the more we appreciate, the happier we become.Thank you.
