Dear teachers and classmates,
Good morning! My name is Gigi from Class 6D.
Today, under this bright five-star red flag, I am honored to stand here and share my thoughts with you on the theme “Celebrate Our Motherland’s Birthday, Dedicate Our Youth.”
As we approach October 1st, our great motherland will celebrate its 76th birthday. For 76 years, she has stood tall and strong, nurturing generations of hardworking and intelligent Chinese people. Her development and prosperity fill every one of us with pride and confidence.
We are the youth of a new era, standing at the best time of our lives. What can we do to contribute to our motherland? The answer lies in our daily efforts: listening attentively in every class, solving each math problem earnestly, and reading every page of our textbooks carefully. It also means being kind to our classmates, respecting our teachers, and loving our families.
Youth is our most precious gift, and this era is our stage. Let us turn our love for the motherland into practical actions. Let us study hard, grow up healthily, and prepare ourselves to be the future pillars of our nation.
Finally, let us sincerely wish our great motherland prosperity and strength! May our youth shine brightly on the journey of building a better China.

尊敬的老师们，亲爱的同学们：
今天，我们怀着无比自豪和喜悦的心情，在这里隆重集会，共同庆祝中华人民共和国成立76周年。鲜艳的五星红旗在庄严的国歌声中冉冉升起，我们每个人的心中都涌动着对祖国母亲的深深热爱和美好祝福。
作为深圳港人子弟学校的一员，我们肩负着特殊的使命。我们既是粤港澳大湾区建设的见证者和参与者，也是连接内地与香港、共促繁荣稳定的桥梁。爱国，对于我们而言，有着更为具体和深刻的内涵。它意味着既要传承中华民族的优良传统，又要立足香港、心怀祖国、放眼世界。
爱国情怀，并非抽象的概念，而是体现在日常学习生活的点滴行动中。对于我们港人子弟学校的学子来说，爱国可以体现在以下几个方面：
珍惜学习机会，提升自我：学好文化知识，了解国家的历史与发展，增强对民族文化的认同感，这是爱国的基础。
遵守社会公德，展现良好风貌：无论在校内还是校外，都自觉遵守纪律，文明有礼，爱护环境，展现当代青少年的良好素养，这同样是爱国行为的体现。
增进两地理解，促进交流融合：积极发挥自身优势，成为内地与香港文化交流的小使者，增进彼此的了解与友谊，为粤港澳大湾区的共同发展贡献青春力量。
树立远大理想，勇担时代责任：将个人成长融入国家发展和大湾区建设的大局中，立志为香港的长期繁荣稳定、为祖国的更加富强贡献力量。
同学们，你们是祖国的未来，是大湾区的希望，也是香港的希望。希望大家能将爱国之情、强国之志，转化为报国之行。从认真听好每一堂课、爱护校园的一草一木、尊重每一位老师和工友、友善对待每一位同学做起，用实际行动诠释爱国主义的真谛。
在国庆佳节来临之际，让我们共同祝愿伟大的祖国繁荣昌盛、国泰民安！祝愿香港长期繁荣稳定、明天更加美好！祝愿全体师生和家人节日快乐、幸福安康！
