8月尾声,秋意渐起,新哲文院2025-2026学年已开启两周,在这两周举办的一系列的新生活动中,初入校园的“萌新”们想必已经融入了集体、交到了好朋友。面对未来生活和学习上的困惑,新哲也已备好温暖解答——8月28日,学校以一场新生座谈会,让校长与各部门领导化身“解忧达人”,用专业与关怀为新生保驾护航。
The 2025-2026 school year had been underway for two weeks. Through a series of freshman activities, new Sendeltans had likely integrated into the community and made friends. To address their future academic and life concerns, Sendelta hosted a freshman forum on August 28, where the principal and department leaders acted as "problem-solvers," guiding freshmen with professionalism and care.


许盛贵校长亲率教学处、学生处、升学部、活动中心、总务处等部门负责人,与新生面对面交流。他首先向加入新哲大家庭的新生们致以热烈欢迎,并结合校园生活与成长规律,提出两条暖心指引,为大家勾勒清晰的成长蓝图:
Principal Xu, accompanied by heads of the Teaching Affairs Office, Student Affairs Office, College Counseling Department, Activity Center, and General Affairs Office, held face-to-face talks with freshmen. He first extended a warm welcome to those joining the Sendelta family, then offered two pieces of heartfelt guidance to map out their growth:

其一,建议同学们每日记录成长轨迹,让学习收获、活动感悟与心理变化皆有迹可循,在复盘里稳步前行;其二,叮嘱大家用心经营师生、同学与亲子关系,在互敬互谅中学会与人相处,筑牢成长的情感支撑。
1.Advise students to record their daily growth, so academic gains, activity insights, and mental changes are traceable, enabling steady progress through reflection.2.Urge students to nurture teacher-student, peer, and parent-child relationships, learning to interact with mutual respect and understanding to build a strong emotional foundation for growth.
许校强调,新哲不只追求卓越的升学成果,更始终将学生的身心全面发展放在核心位置。他始终秉持 “尊重为先、教育在后、爱在其中” 的教育理念,带领团队全力打造友爱互助、充满活力的校园氛围,让每一位新生都能在温暖的环境中安心成长。
Principal Xu emphasized that Sendelta pursues excellent college admission results, but places greater focus on students’ all-round physical and mental development. Upholding the educational philosophy of "Respect First, Education Second, Love in All," he leads the team to create a supportive and vibrant campus atmosphere, ensuring every freshman grows in a warm environment.
交流环节,学校各部门围绕新生在问卷调查中最关心的问题精准发力:教学处针对“如何融入学习”展开解答,清晰梳理AP与A-Level选课思路,深入解析“分层教学、因材施教”的培养理念,为新生夯实学业基础指明方向;学生处细致解读电子产品使用规范,耐心阐释“限制”背后的教育考量,强调自律培养对成长的重要性;
During the discussion, departments targeted the top concerns from freshmen’s questionnaires:Teaching Affairs Office: Answered questions on academic integration, clarified AP/A-Level course selection strategies, and explained the "stratified teaching, individualized instruction" concept to lay a solid academic foundation.
Student Affairs Office: Detailed rules for electronic device use, explained the educational reasons behind restrictions, and stressed the importance of self-discipline.



活动中心则清晰指引社团加入路径与学年活动参与方式,助力新生找到兴趣归属;总务处直面食堂卫生、排队时长等生活疑问,用扎实的保障让新生在校生活更安心;升学部详细介绍“一对一升学规划”的具体思路与安排,从长远视角帮新生明确发展方向。
Activity Center: Guided students on joining clubs and participating in annual activities to help them find interest outlets.
General Affairs Office: Addressed daily concerns like canteen hygiene and waiting times, ensuring a secure living environment.
College Counseling Department: Outlined the "one-on-one college planning" approach and arrangements to clarify long-term development directions.

新生座谈会并非偶然,而是新哲常态化倾听学生声音的一环。日常校园里,新生遇惑可随时联系班主任或相关部门咨询;每月开设的校长接待日,更面向师生家长敞开沟通大门。各部门在座谈会告知所在办公室与问题对接人,为新生打通“遇事有处寻助”的便捷路径,以实际行动践行“全人教育”理念。
The freshman forum is part of Sendelta’s regular efforts to listen to students. Daily, freshmen can consult homeroom teachers or departments for questions; monthly "Principal Reception Days" are also open to students, teachers, and parents. At the forum, departments shared their office locations and contact persons, creating a convenient channel for freshmen to seek help—putting the "holistic education" philosophy into action.
