高藤开学典礼｜以创新启新程，以内驱赴韶华

面对 AI 重塑边界，Owen 校长以 “如何守住不可替代性”“如何选未来课程” 两问，引导学生成长为主动定义问题的思考者 — 这是应对技术冲击的核心底气。 

Facing the boundary reshaping by AI, Principal Owen posed two questions: "what is the most important skill we should develop that cannot be replaced by machines?" and "what is one 'future course' you would most want to experience at our school?" He guided students to grow into thinkers who proactively define problems. This is the core strength to cope with technological impact.

Owen校长提出“创新始于提问、跨学科生长、靠实践落地” 三个新学期关键词，鼓励同学们参与 STEAM、PBL 并提个性化探究方向，既让学习贴合需求，更培养学生主人翁意识与责任担当，筑造潜能生长土壤。 

Principal Owen put forward three key words for the new semester: "Being creative begins with 'asking questions', thrives on 'cross-subject learning' and is realized through 'practice'". He encouraged students to participate in STEAM and PBL programs and propose personalized research directions. This not only aligns learning with their needs, but also cultivates their sense of ownership and responsibility, creating a soil for potential growth. 

Lydia 校长为各年级锚定成长重点， 强调 “内驱力是升级关键”。学校教育只是钥匙，需同学们主动转动锁芯，才能推开成长大门。

Principal Lydia defined key growth priorities for each grade and emphasized that "inner drive is the key to self-improvement." School education is just a key—students need to take the initiative to turn the key to open the door of growth.

In the new semester, Principal Lydia's words not only help students clarify their learning rhythm, but also assist them in clarifying goals with inner drive. This helps students steadily move towards "a better version of yourself" and accumulate momentum for future learning and development. The teachers at SMCS will always stand behind the students. With professionalism and enthusiasm, they will fully support every student's all-round growth and help them achieve self-improvement.

SMCS grandly awarded honorary awards to students who achieved outstanding academic performance, made significant progress, or excelled in comprehensive performance last semester. This is not only a recognition of their hard work—their diligence in studying and devotion to projects over the past semester—but also injects abundant motivation into their future. It encourages them to deepen their passions and bravely explore new fields.

这份光芒也为全体高藤学子树立了可参照的成长标杆，让大家看见 “优秀” 从来不是单一的模样，无论是稳步领先、持续进步，还是全面发展，每一份脚踏实地的努力都能收获认可。

This glory also sets a reference-worthy growth benchmark for all SMCS students. It lets everyone see that "excellence" is never a single form. Whether it is steady leadership, continuous progress, or all-round development, every down-to-earth effort will be recognized.

Twinkle 老师强调规范学习是为营造安心有序环境，助大家养成自律严谨习惯；也鼓励参与文体、科创、社团等活动，助成长跳出书本，积累未来所需多元素养。

Teacher Twinkle emphasized that standardized learning aims to create a safe and orderly environment. It helps students develop habits of self-discipline and rigor. She also encouraged students to participate in cultural, sports, sci-tech innovation, and club activities. This helps their growth go beyond textbooks and accumulate diverse competencies needed for the future.

此外，Zoe 老师正式公示了新鲜出炉的 ECA 社团投选结果 — 摄影社、高藤咖啡社、羽毛球社、足球社以及烘焙 + 烹饪社成功成团！下周将正式启动，这不仅是校园生活的丰富，更是激发学子独特潜能、打造个性化成长土壤的生动实践，助力大家在多元体验中实现全面发展，为新学期的成长增添更多精彩维度。

In addition, Teacher Zoe officially announced the newly released ECA club voting results. The following clubs successfully formed: Photography Club, Coffee Club, Badminton Club, Football Club, and Baking + Cooking Club! They will officially launch next week. This is not just an enrichment of campus life—it is also a vivid practice to stimulate students' unique potential and build a soil for personalized growth. It helps students achieve all-round development through diverse experiences and adds more wonderful dimensions to their new semester growth.
