The professional coaching team, composed of core members of the SRCC Super Robotics Club, has an average of over 7 years of experience in robotics competition coaching. All members have a background in science and engineering from top 985/211 universities. They won more than 30 honors, including judges' awards, innovation awards, and alliance championships, in the 2024–2025 season. In the 2017–2018 season, they made history in VEX by becoming the first team to achieve a "grand slam," winning the World Championship's Overall Excellence Award, League Championship, Skills Championship, and Best Design Award.

To allow students to focus on competition preparation without any worries, Gaoteng has launched a comprehensive support system. 2025赛季以 "尖峰时刻" 为主题，要求每支队伍设计两台功能各异的机器人，在3.7米×3.7米的竞技场上展开紧张刺激的对抗。比赛分为两个核心环节：前15秒的自动程序时段，需要通过提前编写的代码完成套环投放、移动桩搬运等精准任务；随后的2分45秒手动操控时段，则考验选手实时操作能力，从精准攀爬高台到策略性干扰对手得分，每一个动作都需要眼疾手快与战术配合。此外，团队还需提交完整的机器人设计文档，并接受评委对创新方案、工程迭代过程的深度问询，全方位展现项目背后的思考与成长。

The 2025 season, themed "Peak Moment," requires each team to design two robots with different functions to compete in a thrilling match on a 3.7-meter × 3.7-meter arena. The competition consists of two core segments: the first 15 seconds are the autonomous period, during which tasks such as ring placement and post relocation must be completed through pre-written code; the following 2 minutes and 45 seconds are the manual control period, testing the competitors' real-time operation skills, from precise climbing to strategic interference of opponents' scoring. Every move requires quick reflexes and tactical coordination. In addition, teams must submit a complete robot design document and undergo in-depth inquiries from judges regarding innovative solutions and the engineering iteration process, showcasing the thinking and growth behind the project in its entirety.

赛事采用层层递进的积分晋级制：首先在区域赛中，高藤学子将与全国重点中学的优秀队伍同场竞技，通过8轮资格赛积累积分，前16名晋级复赛；胜出者将征战全国选拔赛，与各赛区强者展开淘汰赛对决，最终顶尖队伍将代表中国出征美国世锦赛，与全球70余国的顶尖团队争夺 "全能奖"、" 联队冠军 "等至高荣誉。值得关注的是，VEX赛事不仅看重赛场得分，更青睐那些在机械结构、算法优化等方面展现创新思维的团队，创新力就是赛场上的核心竞争力。

The competition follows a progressive points-based advancement system: first, in regional competitions, Gaoteng students will compete with outstanding teams from key high schools across the country. They will accumulate points through eight qualification rounds, with the top 16 advancing to the semifinals. The winners will then proceed to the national selection competition, where they will face off in elimination matches against the best from each region. Ultimately, the top teams will represent China at the World Championship in the United States, contending with over 70 top teams from around the globe for the highest honors such as the "Overall Excellence Award" and "Alliance Championship." It is worth noting that the VEX competition values not only the points scored on the field but also favors teams that demonstrate innovative thinking in mechanical structure and algorithm optimization. For example, in 2024, a team from Xi'an Jiaotong University won the "Overall Excellence Award" and a direct ticket to the World Championship with their lightweight design breakthrough, proving that innovation is the core competitiveness on the field.
