Teamwork and Triumph-CISH EY Sports Day Recap|团队与成功：CISH幼儿园运动会回顾

Last Thursday, on October 23rd, the CISH Early Years team organized our EY Sports Day event for our younger learners from PreK to K3, marking a joyful memory on a beautiful sunny day at the CISH outdoor field.

The event began with an opening ceremony, featuring students walking along the track around the field, followed by a variety of engaging activities that were thoughtfully chosen. These included the Obstacle Course, the Swiss Cheese Hole (Parachute), Ball Games, the Sack Race, the Floor is Lava, the Sorting Game, and the Tug of War Friendship Game. These activities allowed our EY Maple Dragons to play together while practicing teamwork and developing their motor skills.

Furthermore, CISH is proud to see our young Maple Dragons learning through these play-based activities as they begin grasping the fundamentals of IB Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills. They learn social skills through caring, sharing, and waiting for their turns; self-management skills through problem-solving; thinking skills through observation; research skills through asking questions and forming ideas; and communication skills through listening and engaging with one another.

Events like these highlight CISH's commitment as an IB continuum school to nurturing whole-child development and foster continuous learning to help our EY students transition to the Primary, Middle, and High School divisions. We're excited to see our Maple Dragons grow and thrive!

活动以一场由学生们沿着田径场列队行进的开幕式拉开帷幕，整场活动由一系列精心挑选的有趣运动组成。这些运动包括障碍赛、瑞士奶酪洞（降落伞）、球类游戏、袋鼠跳、地板是熔岩、分类游戏和友谊拔河赛，让我们的幼儿园枫叶龙们在玩耍的同时，深刻理解了团队合作精神，并同时锻炼了运动技能。

与此同时，CISH 非常自豪地看到我们低龄段的枫叶龙们通过这些游戏互动活动来学习的同时，也为通过IB课程来掌握学习方法（ATL）技能奠定了良好基础。他们通过关心伙伴、分享物品以及耐心等待来学习社交技能；通过解决问题来掌握自我管理技能；通过观察来练习思考技能；通过提出问题和形成自我的想法来加深探究技能；通过倾听和相互交流来理解沟通技能。

这类校内活动彰显了 CISH 作为国际文凭课程一贯制学校对培育学生全面发展的坚定承诺，并为我们的幼儿园学生在从幼儿园到小学、中学再到高中的学习过程中的持续进步做好铺垫。我们非常期待看到我们的枫叶龙们茁壮成长、不断进步！
