今天的佛山ASJ，洋溢着双重喜悦。

9月10日，既是佛山暨大港澳子弟学校新学年的开学典礼之日，也是国家第41个教师节。在这个意义非凡的日子里，我们相聚校园，以朝气蓬勃的姿态、满怀期待的心情，共同拉开逐梦旅程的序幕；同时，也向每一位在教育岗位上辛勤耕耘、用心育人的老师，献上最诚挚的敬意与祝福。

Today at Foshan ASJ, we celebrate a double joy.

September 10th marks both the opening ceremony of Foshan ASJ's new academic year and the nation's 41st Teachers' Day. On this momentous occasion, we gathered on campus with youthful vigor and hopeful anticipation to jointly launch our journey toward dreams. Simultaneously, we extend our deepest respect and heartfelt wishes to every educator who diligently cultivates knowledge and nurtures young minds.

“启程之时，让我们共同唱响国歌，在庄严旋律中重温先贤教诲，以少年意气承先辈之志，以奋斗姿态赴青春之约。”在主持人深情的致辞中，升旗仪式正式开始。国旗护卫队的同学们迈着坚定的步伐走向旗杆，当雄壮的国歌响彻校园，全体师生肃立注目——这不仅是对国家的致敬，更是对“少年强则国强”责任的铭记。

As we embark on this journey, let us raise our voices in unison to sing the national anthem. Within its solemn melody, we revisit the wisdom of our forebears, carrying forward their aspirations with youthful vigor and embracing our youthful promise through relentless endeavor. With these heartfelt words from the emcee, the flag-raising ceremony commenced. Members of the flag guard marched with resolute steps toward the flagpole. As the majestic national anthem echoed across the campus, all faculty and students stood solemnly at attention—paying homage not only to the nation but also reaffirming their commitment to the principle that “a strong youth leads to a strong nation.”

暨大港澳子弟学校总校长谭日旭先生与佛山暨大港澳子弟学校校长张晔女士为全体师生带来开学致辞。他们回顾了过去一年学校在教育融合与学生培养方面取得的显著成就，并聚焦新学年的发展与创新，寄语同学们勤学善思、敢于追光，成为终身学习者与未来领袖。

Mr. Tam, Head of the ASJ, and Ms. Zhang, Principal of the Foshan ASJ, delivered opening remarks to all faculty and students. They reviewed the school's remarkable achievements in educational integration and student development over the past year, while focusing on the new academic year's growth and innovation. They encouraged students to pursue knowledge diligently, think critically, dare to chase their dreams, and become lifelong learners and future leaders.

张晔校长表示，今年是特殊而厚重的一年——我们迎来了中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利80周年。80年前，无数先烈以血肉之躯筑起长城，用不屈意志捍卫民族尊严，为我们换来了今日的和平与安宁；80年后的今天，作为新时代的青少年，我们既要铭记历史长河中“苟利国家生死以”的家国情怀，更要扛起“强国有我”的时代重任，将个人理想融入民族复兴的壮阔征程，让青春在为祖国、为人民的奉献中绽放光彩。

来自港澳班的吴泽松同学与本校S5班的刘毅灜同学作为学生代表，分别分享了他们的学习体会与成长心声，让我们看见教育如何真正“成就每一个人”。

Wu  from the Hong Kong and Macau Class and Liu from our S5 Class served as student representatives, sharing their learning experiences and reflections on personal growth. Their stories demonstrated how education can truly “empower every individual.”

教师代表赵汉光老师随后发言，鼓励同学们激发思维、启迪心灵，开启精彩的英语学习之旅。家长代表的致辞，则从家校共育的角度表达了对学校的信任与支持，为同学们的逐梦之路增添了一份温暖与勇气。

Mr. Zhao Hanguang then addressed the gathering, encouraging students to ignite their minds and open their hearts as they embark on an exciting journey of English learning. The parent representative's speech expressed trust and support for the school from the perspective of home-school collaboration, adding warmth and courage to the students' path toward their dreams.

学生颁奖仪式将开学典礼的氛围推向高潮。一批批优秀学子依次上台，他们当中，有的在学术领域精益求精，有的在科创、文体、领导力等方面表现突出。每一张奖状背后，都是汗水与坚持的印记，也是学校“全人教育”理念的生动体现。

The student awards ceremony brought the opening ceremony to its climax. Batch after batch of outstanding students took the stage, some excelling in academic pursuits, others demonstrating remarkable achievements in innovation, arts and sports, or leadership. Behind each award certificate lies a testament to sweat and perseverance, vividly embodying the school's philosophy of holistic education.

当校长团队为获奖学生颁奖时，镜头记录下的不仅是一张张灿烂的笑脸，更是一颗颗被点燃的向上之心——只要“知行合一”，每个人都能在自己的赛道上迎来属于自己的“春天”。

As the principal's team presented awards to the winning students, the camera captured not only beaming smiles but also hearts ignited with ambition—for when knowledge and action unite, everyone can welcome their own springtime on their chosen path.

随后，来自S2A班的林海晴与潘皓同学带来了英文诗歌朗诵《Don’t Quit》。

“When things go wrong as they sometimes will, When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill...” 清澈而坚定的声音在校园中回荡，诗句中洋溢着直面困境、永不言弃的信念与力量。

Next, Lin and Pan rom Class S2A delivered an English poetry recitation titled “Don't Quit.” “When things go wrong as they sometimes will, When the road you're trudging seems all uphill...” Their clear and resolute voices echoed across the campus, their verses radiating the conviction and strength to confront adversity head-on and never give up.

这不仅是对每一位学子的真诚鼓励——愿他们在未来的求学路上不惧挑战、勇毅前行；也诠释了学校的教育理念：教育不仅在于传授知识，更在于培养学生坚韧品格，教会他们以从容的心态、坚定的意志面对成长路上的风雨，在坚持中收获成长。

This is not only a heartfelt encouragement to every student—may they face challenges fearlessly and forge ahead with courage on their future academic journey—but also embodies the school's educational philosophy: Education is not merely about imparting knowledge, but more importantly about cultivating students' resilience. It teaches them to confront the storms of life with composure and unwavering resolve, reaping growth through perseverance.

开学典礼结束后，校园迎来了另一个温情时刻——教职工表彰大会。一批在教学、管理、服务等不同岗位上恪尽职守、表现卓越的教职工成为全场瞩目的焦点。

Following the opening ceremony, the campus witnessed another heartwarming moment—the staff commendation meeting. A group of educators and administrators who demonstrated exceptional dedication and performance in teaching, management, and service roles became the center of attention.

他们之中，既有深耕讲台、用经验与热爱点亮无数学生求知路的资深教师；也有锐意进取、不断探索教学新方法、为课堂注入活力的青年骨干教师；更有在后勤保障、行政服务等岗位上默默坚守、以细致与热忱为校园运转保驾护航的工作人员。

正是这些平凡却坚定的身影，怀揣对教育事业的赤诚，在各自的岗位上发光发热，共同托举起孩子们充满希望的明天，也始终守护着学校立德树人的教育初心。

Among them are seasoned educators who have dedicated their careers to the classroom, illuminating countless students' paths of learning with their experience and passion. There are also young, dynamic teachers who relentlessly explore innovative teaching methods, infusing vitality into their classrooms. And there are staff members who quietly uphold their posts in logistics, administration, and other support roles, safeguarding the smooth operation of campus life with meticulous care and unwavering dedication. It is these ordinary yet steadfast figures, driven by their sincere dedication to education, who shine brightly in their respective roles. Together, they lift up the children's hopeful tomorrows and steadfastly uphold the school's founding mission of fostering virtue and nurturing talent.
