Listening and cooperation | Parent as a partner in CISK

At CISK, we believe that quality education cannot be achieved without close collaboration between the school and families. Whether it’s the warm and informal ‘Coffee with the Principals’ event or the more structured PTA meetings, both provide important opportunities for open communication between parents and the school. These moments are not only about dialogue and listening, but also about trust and partnership.

This semester, we officially launched the ‘Coffee with the Principals’. In a relaxed atmosphere, parents sat down with the principal to share their thoughts and concerns. Parents raised suggestions on topics such as the school menu, which the principal listened to carefully and addressed one by one. These exchanges allow the school to better understand parents' needs and help parents feel that their voices are heard and respected.

This semester, ‘Coffee with the Principals’ will become a regular event at CISK. Every Wednesday morning, parents from one year group will be invited to engage in open discussions with the principal from 8:30–9:30. We look forward to building stronger connections with families and creating a more supportive learning environment for our students through these conversations.

At the same time, the PTA continues to play an active role. As a vital bridge between the school and families, the PTA makes communication more direct and efficient.

During the most recent meeting, the new PTA members were introduced, giving everyone a clearer understanding of the team. Outgoing PTA members also shared their valuable experiences, emphasizing the importance of mutual respect and inclusiveness in fostering collaboration between school and home. Finally, the principal updated parents on several key matters, including important dates for upcoming school events, and provided reminders on issues such as student phone management. With this exchange, the session came to a successful close.

These exchanges were not only about sharing ideas but also about strengthening teamwork. Together, teachers, parents, and leaders reaffirmed a shared goal: to make classrooms spaces where knowledge is shared, curiosity is encouraged, and exploration is celebrated.

本学期Coffee with the Principals 将成为CISK的常规活动。每周三上午 8:30–9:30，学校将按照年级顺序邀请家长与校长进行交流。我们期待通过这种面对面的沟通，让家长和学校建立更紧密的联系，为学生创造更舒适、更具支持性的学习环境。

在本次活动中，新一届PTA成员进行了自我介绍，大家对团队有了更清晰的认识。即将离任的上一届PTA成员也分享了他们的宝贵经验，强调相互尊重和包容在家校合作中的重要性。最后，校长向家长们同步了一些重要事项，包括即将举行的必威betway中文网的重要时间节点以及学生手机管理等问题的提醒。随着交流的结束，本次会议圆满落幕。
