开学前夕，华外同文外国语学校为一年级新生准备了一份特别的礼物——为期三天两夜的“魔法启航日”。这不仅是一场入学体验，更是一段充盈仪式感、欢笑与成长的温馨旅程。在这里，孩子们在爱上学校之前，先爱上了在这里成长的自己。

Right before the new semester, Huawai-Tongman Foreign Language School offered its first graders a special gift—a 3-day "Magical Kick-off". More than just an orientation, it was a meaningful journey filled with rituals, laughter, and growth. Here, children learned to love themselves even before learning to love school.

对许多孩子来说，从幼儿园迈向小学意味着很多“第一次”，需要很多的“勇气”！第一次主动向老师挥手打招呼，第一次站在讲台上介绍自己的名字，第一次托起餐盘打餐，第一次离开父母独自在校园里过夜晚……

For many children, starting primary school brings many firsts — and requires courage. Waving at a teacher on their own, introducing themselves in front of the class, carrying a meal tray, spending a night at school without parents…

华外以细致的关怀融化了所有不安，给了同学更多勇气。生活老师手把手地教他们整理床铺、使用饮水机；班主任俯身倾听他们每一丝情绪；学长学姐带领他们熟悉校园；晚餐时，老师和孩子们同桌吃饭，像家人一样闲话家常。那一晚，宿舍里没有孤单的眼泪，只有讲故事的声音、展示才艺的笑语，和悄悄话中萌发的新友谊。

Dorm teachers showed them how to make beds and use water dispensers; homeroom teachers listened patiently to their concerns. At dinner, teachers and students ate together like family. That night, dorms were filled not with tears, but with storytelling, talent shows, and new friendships.

“老师，我会自己打水啦！”——一句看似简单的话，却是一个孩子走向独立的第一步。

“Teacher, I can get water by myself!” — a simple phrase, but a big step toward independence.

如果说这三天有真正的高光时刻，那一定是庄重而温暖的“开笔礼”。

If there was a true highlight, it was the solemn yet warm “Opening Ceremony”.

孩子们身着汉服，净手入泮、拜师启智、朱砂点额，写下人生的第一个“人”字。不止是体验，更是一场真正的文化浸润。他们在仪式中读懂“尊师”，在书写中体会“立人”，在击鼓声中明心立志。

Dressed in traditional attire, children washed hands, bowed to teachers, had red dots painted on their foreheads, and wrote the character for “human”. This was not a performance—it was cultural immersion. They learned respect through ritual, integrity through writing, and ambition through drumming.

中方教师与国际教师一起参与这一仪式，接受拜师礼，“更中国 更世界”中外融合的教育特色，在这一刻实现了最美的交融。

Both Chinese and international teachers participated in the ceremony, receiving bows from students. At this moment, the educational vision of "Embrce China, Embrace th World" was beautifully embodied.

教育并不遥远，它就藏在生活之中。孩子们学习文明就餐——排队、安静就餐；学习安静午休——好好躺下、盖好被子；还学习如何冲凉、如何辨别蚊虫叮咬……这些看似日常的琐事，却是学校最用心的安排。

Education lies in daily life. Kids learned dining etiquette—setting tables, lining up, using hand signals; they learned to nap quietly—lying down properly, covering themselves; they even learned to shower and identify bug bites. These everyday details were carefully designed lessons.

在小学低段培养良好的习惯与态度，是为未来学习打下坚实基础。接下来一个月，同学们还将围绕课堂常规、行为习惯、独立与合作，正式开启他们的小学生活。

Cultivating good habits and attitudes in early grades builds a strong foundation for future learning. Over the next month, students will officially begin elementary life, focusing on class routines, behavior, independence, and teamwork.

这一切精彩，源于学校的精心安排与专业落实。

This success was made possible by meticulous planning and professional execution.

从报到当天清晰的指引、志愿者温暖的笑容，到每晚班主任走入宿舍、关注每个孩子的情绪；从新生体验活动的巧妙设计，到每餐膳食的科学搭配——华外将“用心”写入了每一个细节。

From clear guidance on registration day and volunteers’ warm smiles, to homeroom teachers checking on each child’s well-being every night; from the clever design of the “New Student Handbook” to scientifically planned meals—HW poured heart into every detail.

而家长的反馈，成为这份用心最好的回音：“孩子更自信了。”“谢谢你们，让他不再害怕上学”

Parent feedback echoed this dedication: “My child came back more confident.”  “Thank you for making him unafraid of school.”

教育，是一程又一程温暖的陪伴。在这里，每个孩子都被看见、被尊重、被深爱。他们的第一步，稳稳地、亮亮地，踏在了光里。
