8月18日,佛山暨大港澳子弟学校全体教职工大会召开。会上,全校人员齐聚一堂,共同回顾过往学年的成就,系统规划新学年的发展策略,为学校迈入办学第三年这一关键阶段明确了清晰方向。

On August 18, the all staff & faculty meeting of the Foshan ASJ was held. At the meeting, all staff members gathered together to review the achievements of the past academic year, systematically plan the development strategies for the new academic year, and clarify the clear direction for the school as it enters its third year of operation—a critical phase.
Through multi-dimensional sharing, the meeting deeply conveyed the philosophy of “growth, professionalism, and collaboration,” vividly demonstrating the school's commitment to cultivating the educational landscape of the Greater Bay Area and steadily advancing toward becoming a benchmark for international education. It also conveyed a warm yet resolute educational force.
大会在赖永春总督学的线上致辞中正式启幕。他首先对新加入的教师表示诚挚欢迎,并强调教育者言行对学生成长的深远影响,鼓励全体教师以身立教,在日常教学中推动学生掌握“两文三语”,夯实跨文化沟通的语言基础。
赖总督学还指出,面对新时代教育的发展趋势,教师应积极关注人工智能等前沿技术,将其有机融入教学,提升课堂效能。同时,要共同营造轻松愉悦的学习氛围,使校园成为学生探索世界、快乐成长的天地。
The meeting began with an online address by Martin Lai, the Chief Inspector of Education. He first extended a warm welcome to the newly joined teachers and emphasized the profound influence of educators' words and actions on students' growth. He encouraged all teachers to lead by example and promote students' mastery of “bi-literacy and tri-lingualism” in their daily teaching, thereby laying a solid foundation for cross-cultural communication.
He also pointed out that in the face of new trends in education, teachers should actively pay attention to cutting-edge technologies such as AI and organically integrate them into teaching to enhance classroom efficiency. At the same time, they should work together to create a relaxed and pleasant learning atmosphere, making the campus a place where students can explore the world and grow up happily.

“学生的成长才是学校的成功”——这一育人初心贯穿大会始终。张晔校长以“我们是谁”与“我们做什么”为引,勾勒出新学年的发展蓝图。她坦言,目前学校已进入特色塑造、质量提升、口碑积淀的关键阶段。为此,学校在新学年优化组织架构,以多元经验为校领导团队注入活力。同时,为强化学段衔接,学校优化学部管理,设立跨学科组别,推动课堂从单一教学走向融合拓展,并深入探索国家课程与香港DSE课程的有机融合,让每一份教育智慧都能在协同中迸发光芒。
“What the school success means each student continuously improve and achieve what they are pursuing for”—this educational philosophy ran throughout the conference. Principal Zhang Ye began with the questions “Who are we?” and “What do we do?” to outline the development plan for the new academic year. She acknowledged that the school has now entered a critical phase of shaping its unique characteristics, enhancing quality, and building its reputation. To this end, the school has optimized its organizational structure in the new academic year, infusing the school leadership team with vitality through diverse experiences. Additionally, to strengthen the transition between educational stages, the school has optimized departmental management, established interdisciplinary groups, and promoted the evolution of classrooms from single-subject teaching to integrated and expanded learning. It is also deeply exploring the organic integration of national curriculum and HKDSE curriculum, ensuring that every educational insight shines through collaboration.

在发展规划方面,张晔校长清晰明确了新学年的目标任务——深化“校风、学风、教风”三风建设,并作为塑造学校品牌口碑的核心内容。针对学生培养工作,她创新性地提出“一个不落下”育人行动,强调要构建清晰的路径与全方位学生支持体系,从6年级到12年级构建跨学段培养方案,通过精准的课程定制与个性化指导相结合的方式,助力每个学生都能找到适合自身的成长支点,实现全面发展。
In terms of development planning, Principal Christine clearly outlined the objectives and tasks for the new academic year—deepening the construction of “school culture, learning culture, and educational culture”—and identified these as the core elements for shaping the school's brand reputation. Regarding student development, she innovatively proposed the “no one left behind” educational initiative, emphasizing the need to establish clear pathways and a comprehensive student support system. This includes developing cross-grade level cultivation plans from 6th to 12th grade, combining precise course customization with personalized guidance to help each student find their own growth anchor and achieve all-round development.

在教学工作上,佛山暨大港澳子弟学校将继续深耕“以香港课程为核心,融合IB理念”的特色课程体系,构建“可循环教育生态环境”,通过“课程规划与纵向教学一体化”战略,为学生提供12年连贯性教育体验。
教师成长方面,新学年还将启动“教师队伍建设计划”,通过培养体系的构建与多元激励机制的实施,为每位教师打造合适的发展路径,帮助他们激发教育教学活力。
In terms of teaching, Foshan ASJ will continue to focus on its distinctive curriculum system, which centers on the Hong Kong curriculum and integrates IB concepts, to build a “recyclable educational ecosystem.” Through a strategy of “curriculum planning and vertical teaching integration,” the school will provide students with a 12-year continuous educational experience.
In terms of teacher development, the new academic year will also launch a “Teacher Development Program.” By establishing a training system and implementing diverse incentive mechanisms, the program will create tailored development pathways for each teacher, helping them to enhance their educational and teaching vitality.

Vice Principal Lin Peiyi's speech focused on teamwork and inclusive support in campus culture building, providing us with a profound explanation of the importance of team spirit in education.

She pointed out: “At ASJ, a group of people is not merely a collection of individuals divided by job roles; it is a team united by a shared vision and common goals.” This statement profoundly reveals the essence of the Foshan ASJ learner community—here, each member is not an isolated individual but part of a collective bound together by shared educational ideals and goals. Mutual tolerance transforms differences into strengths, mutual respect fosters a harmonious atmosphere, and sincere support provides the team with an endless source of motivation to move forward.

林沛仪副校长以首届DSE学生的成长蜕变为例进行了生动阐述。这些学生曾经历过“迷茫”的阶段,面临着学习和成长中的诸多挑战。但教学、德育、升学及校长团队等共同为学生规划清晰的发展路径,多股力量形成合力,最终帮助这批学生实现了显著的成长,多人斩获港前三大学录取成绩。这也有力地印证了跨部门协作在学生成长过程中的关键作用,充分彰显“包容、尊重、支持 的团队文化所蕴含的巨大能量。
Vice Principal Lin Peiyi provided a vivid illustration using the growth and transformation of the first cohort of DSE students as an example. These students had previously gone through a phase of “confusion” and faced numerous challenges in their learning and development. However, through the collaborative efforts of the academic department, the moral education department, the admissions department, and the principal's team, a clear development path was established for the students. The combined efforts of these departments ultimately facilitated significant growth among this group of students, with many securing admissions to the top three universities in Hong Kong. This also strongly demonstrates the critical role of cross-departmental collaboration in the students' growth process, fully showcasing the immense power inherent in a team culture of inclusivity, respect, and support.
汤凌艳副校长则带来了振奋人心的升学捷报。2025 届佛山暨大港澳子弟学校学子交出了一份亮眼的成绩单:25名 DSE考生中,达香港顶尖三大名校录取线的比例高达 52%,斩获香港八大及内地211以上院校录取的学生占比达 80%。这些数字的背后,正是学校每一位教育者的初心坚守,以专业赋能学生成长,用关爱点亮学生前路的实践成果。
Vice Principal Elaine brought exciting news about university admissions. The Class of 2025 at Foshan ASJ delivered an impressive set of results: among the 25 DSE candidates, 52% met the admission requirements of Hong Kong's top three universities, and 80% were admitted to the top eight universities in Hong Kong and mainland universities ranked 211 or higher. Behind these figures lies the unwavering commitment of every educator at the school to empower students' growth through professional expertise and illuminate their future paths with care and support.

为进一步提升师生的校园幸福感,学校硬件设施升级工程正稳步推进,为师生成长保驾护航。汤凌艳副校长介绍,新学年多项设施将迎来显著提升:健身房、游泳池及新餐厅将在国庆假期后陆续投入使用;校车服务网络也将大幅扩展,新增多条周末线路,便捷连通广佛两地多个交通枢纽,为师生出行提供更多便利。
To further enhance the sense of well-being on campus for teachers and students, the school's hardware facility upgrade project is progressing steadily, providing a solid foundation for the growth and development of both. Vice Principal Elaine noted that several facilities will see significant improvements in the new academic year: the gym, swimming pool, and new dining hall will be put into use one after another following the National Day holiday; the school bus service network will also be significantly expanded, with new weekend routes added to provide convenient connections between multiple transportation hubs in Guangzhou and Foshan, offering greater convenience for teachers and students' commuting needs.
