Lunch Break Smash ｜ “子弹杯”午间羽毛球赛

Badminton is hugely popular with both teachers and students at ASJ (Dongguan). To enliven Friday lunchtimes and showcase the school's vibrant energy, ASJ (Dongguan) held an exciting 'Bullet Cup' badminton tournament. The name 'Bullet Cup' perfectly captures the incredible speed and power of badminton – the shuttlecock rockets off the racket like a bullet.

在东莞暨大港澳子弟学校，羽毛球是一项深受师生喜爱的运动。为丰富周五午休时光，展现校园活力，学校特别推出了别开生面的“子弹杯”羽毛球赛。赛事以“子弹杯”为名，正是为了呼应羽毛球运动本身令人惊叹的速度与力量——球拍击球的瞬间，羽毛球如子弹般疾速飞驰，力量感十足。

This format generated great enthusiasm. The competition was fast-paced, efficient, and full of fun. Players were highly motivated, competing fiercely for every point and demonstrating outstanding enthusiasm and competitive spirit. The first round saw 52 players battling it out in a single-elimination format. They dashed across the court, placed precise drop shots, and unleashed powerful smashes, all vying for a place in the next round. The whole hall buzzed with youthful energy and a brilliant competitive atmosphere.

这种形式点燃了大家的热情，比赛过程紧凑高效又不乏趣味，选手们个个精神饱满，每球必争，展现出了极高的参与热情和拼搏精神。首轮由成功约战的选手进行单败淘汰，52位参赛者在场上奋力拼杀，灵活跑动、精准吊球、迅猛扣杀，精彩瞬间不断，全力角逐宝贵的晋级名额。整个赛场洋溢着青春的热力与积极向上的竞技氛围。

In the boys' final, Jackie from Grade 9D faced Kennedy from Grade 11E. Despite the gap in both experience and age, Jackie showed incredible tenacity. His agility, sharp net play, and fierce smashes secured him the championship title. Kennedy took second place, with Raymond (Grade 10E) in third.

The girls' final was equally compelling, with Christine from Grade 10D up against Lisa from Grade 11E. Christine's accurate shot placement and strong defence earned her the top spot. Lisa took second place, with Elena (Grade 10D) in third.

男子组决赛中，九年级的刘治帆（G9D）对阵十一年级的温凯迪（G11E）。面对经验和年龄的差距，刘治帆凭借敏捷的速度、细腻的网前技术和凌厉的扣杀，展现出顽强拼搏的精神，最终成功问鼎。温凯迪获得亚军，施泽榕（G10E）获得季军。女子组决赛同样精彩，十年级的翟晓彤（G10D）迎战十一年级的李佩琳（G11E）。翟晓彤依靠精准的落点和顽强的防守，最终摘得桂冠，李佩琳获得亚军，王宜琳（G10D）获得季军。
