弘科家长工作坊丨破译IB教育「理念密码」:90% 家长不知道的赋能真相
IB-PYP小学项目提出,教育是一项社会化的集体努力,事关整个学习社区以及所属个人的利益。学习社区中的每个人都具有能动性,将自己视为学习社区发展壮大和取得成功的贡献者,并采取行动以带来变化。而家长作为学习者社区中的重要成员,他们通过积极参与学校生活,了解各项决定,交流思想观点,积累经验和提供支持,为社区增添财富。家庭与学校的伙伴关系也为支持学生的学习、成长、健康和福祉以及能动性奠定基础。
弘科未来小学部开展本学期的融合班家长工作坊,在PYP项目协调员贺静茹主任的带领下,家长们通过破冰游戏、分组活动和集体做决定等方式,亲身体验了孩子们探究课堂上的挑战和乐趣,并对于孩子在学校是如何进行探究式学习、如何支持和培养孩子能动性,如何通过构建家校合力的学习者社区赋能孩子成长等方面有了深入的了解。
小学部家长工作坊以“思考-结伴-分享”的破冰活动拉开序幕。 家长们通过这一环节分享教育理念,并结识小组伙伴。
随后,工作坊聚焦IB使命宣言与弘科未来学校的使命宣言。活动阐明,弘科未来的国际化教育实践,是在IB使命框架下,结合自身特色与定位进行的本土化发展。
通过回顾IB教育历程与解析PYP课程框架,家长们系统了解了IB教育体系,认识到其核心的“十大培养目标”。这些目标是IB世界学校所重视的学生特质,旨在培养他们成为本地及全球社区中负责任的成员。
“根据孩子现阶段情况,您认为最重要的培养目标有哪些?”带着这个问题,家长们积极投入小组讨论。他们运用“钻石图”工具,梳理并排序各项目标的重要性,并通过可视化分析呈现小组共识。这一深度探讨,加深了家长对IB理念具体落地的理解,为后续家校协同育人奠定了理念基础。

在工作坊尾声深入了解IB与弘科使命宣言、培养目标后, 家长们惊喜地发现,这些理念与自身的教育观念高度契合,这为家校合作奠定了坚实基础——我们将携手以IB与弘科理念为指引,共同推动家庭教育与孩子成长的协同发展。
这也正是探究的巧妙之处——通过分析研究、讨论交流及思维可视化工具等多元活动,引导学生自主发现问题、拆解问题、建构认知,而非采用灌输式教育。这种方式让知识的内化过程更具深度,真正回归了激发学习能动性的教育本质。家长们通过反思表达了对IB探究学习的体验与感悟,感叹其独特魅力,并期待下一次活动。

The IB PYP Primary Program proposes that:The learning community recognizes that education is a social endeavour benefiting all its members individually and collectively .An inclusive learning community: lives peacefully together by engaging with different ways of knowing and being prioritizes people and their relationships ,assumes shared responsibility for learning, health and well-being. Everyone in the learning community has agency, see themselves as contributors to its strength and success, and take action to affect change .
This semester, the primary department of ACZS has carried out the IE class parent workshop. Under the Ms.Ruby, the PYP Coordinator, parents experienced the challenges and fun of children's inquiry classes firsthand through ice-breaking games, group activities, collective decision-making and so on. They also gained in-depth understanding of how children carry out inquiry-based learning at school, how to support and cultivate children's initiative, and how to empower children's growth by building a learner community with home-school collaboration.
The parent workshop commenced with an engaging icebreaker, where parents actively participated in a "think-pair-share" activity. This interactive session not only provided a platform for them to exchange educational perspectives but also fostered connections among group members.We then delved into the IB Mission Statement and ACZS Mission Statement , highlighting how our educational approach seamlessly integrates international standards with unique school characteristics.
As we explored the evolution of IB education and the PYP curriculum framework, parents gained a comprehensive understanding of the ten IB Learner Profiles. These profiles, central to the IB philosophy, aim to nurture students into responsible contributors to both local and global communities.Prompted by the question "Which Learner Profiles are most crucial for your child's current development?" parents enthusiastically embarked on group discussions.
Utilizing a diamond diagram, they collaboratively ranked the profiles and shared their nuanced interpretations, demonstrating deep engagement with the educational concepts.
At the conclusion of the workshop, after gaining an in-depth understanding of the IB Mission Statement, ACZS Mission Statement, and the IB Learner Profile, parents were pleasantly surprised to find a high degree of alignment between these educational philosophies and their own through careful comparison. This consensus has laid a solid foundation for home-school cooperation — guided by the educational concepts of IB and ACZS, we will work together to promote the collaborative development of family education and children's growth.
This also highlights the ingenuity of our inquiry: through diverse activities such as analytical research, discussion exchanges, and thinking visualization tools, students are guided to independently identify problems, deconstruct them, and construct knowledge, rather than being taught. This approach enriches the depth of knowledge internalization and returns education to its essence of stimulating students' agency.
Following the workshop, parents expressed their experiences and feelings about this IB inquiry-based learning through reflections, marveling at the unique charm of IB education while looking forward to the next workshop experience!
ACZS encourages parents to assist their children's learning and development, to promote their children's learning and growth, to improve communication and collaboration between home and school, and to collaborate in creating an engaged learning community.
