Grade 3 students embarked on a marvelous journey of imagination through the text ‘The Other Side of the Universe.’ By creating inverse imaginative sentences beginning with ‘On the other side of the universe...,’ the children transformed their boundless creativity into words, vividly depicting astonishing parallel universes. During the artistic exploration segment, the students reimagined what different subject classrooms might look like: in art class, paints would dance on their own, Chinese class became a story-chain game, while math class was filled with delicious creativity, such as the vivid and fun equation ‘bread + sausage = hotdog.’ This lesson, through artistic modes of expression, helped students materialise the surreal imaginations from the text, effectively stimulating their innovative thinking and divergent reasoning abilities.

Upper Primary learnt how to perform the Fosbury flop in high jump lessons. Students learnt that for jumping events, the centre of gravity of the body must be as high as possible to successfully complete this artistic jump.
