Family Orientation is more than just registration — it’s your first step into the heart of our school. Our teachers, fully prepared after thorough training, are ready to greet students and families for their very first encounter of the new school year. On August 25, our Secondary Student Orientation Day will give new and returning students a hands-on tour of campus life, letting them check out classes, activities, and support services, and helping them settle in and feel part of the community from day one.
8月25日中学启航日，我们将带领新生和返校生走进校园的每一个角落，了解课程安排、校规、活动与支持服务。通过亲身体验和互动，他们将更快熟悉校园生活、融入校园文化，感受社群温度，为新学年的精彩旅程做好准备。
On Orientation Day, multiple information booths will be set up in the sports hall, covering uniforms, dining, boarding, health management, IT support, and more — allowing new and returning families to access everything they need in one place.
迎新日当天，体育馆将设有多个集中资讯展位，涵盖校服、餐饮、寄宿、健康中心、拓展课程、电脑领取、系统操作指导等信息，让所有学生家庭都能一站式获取所需资讯。
New students can book a fitting in advance. After confirming the size, we recommend placing orders online via the “ISA Store” mini programme. Students who have already completed a fitting can order directly through the mini programme. If standard sizes are not suitable, custom tailoring is available.
新生可提前预约试穿校服，确认尺码后，建议通过小程序“ISA Store 爱莎校服商店”线上下单；已提前试装的学生，可直接通过小程序下单。若常规尺码无法满足需求，我们还提供量体定制服务。
Returns/exchanges are accepted within 15 working days if tags are intact and items are unworn; close-fitting items (swimwear, caps, socks) cannot be returned. Online orders cannot be exchanged in-store.
校服自签收/线下购买起15个工作日内，标签完好且未洗涤的情况下，可支持退换货。贴身衣物（泳衣、泳裤、泳帽、袜类等）不支持退换。线上购买的校服商品，不支持线下退换。

Mosquito Prevention on Campus
校园防蚊举措
The school has developed a detailed prevention and control plan targeting vector-borne diseases, including chikungunya fever, and implemented multiple measures to prevent and eliminate mosquitoes, creating a safe and clean learning environment for teachers and students.
针对包括基孔肯雅热在内的虫媒传染病预防，学校已制定了详细的防控工作方案，采取了多项防控措施防蚊灭蚊，为师生营造安全、清洁的学习环境。
Guided by health authorities, our school has partnered with certified pest control experts for weekly campus-wide inspections and treatments targeting mosquitoes and other pests. Ongoing Preventative Measures include: daily standing water checks, regular landscaping maintenance and anti-mosquito supplies distribution. Our Health Center conducts morning or afternoon health screenings, tracks illness-related absences, and coordinates closely with local hospitals and the CDC. All school buses receive daily disinfection to ensure safe commutes.

The school will maintain ongoing monitoring of campus mosquito activity and implement enhanced control measures to ensure a healthy and secure environment for all students and staff.

The school cafeteria is more than just a place to eat — it is a key space for student interaction and campus life.

ISASC Cafeteria offers daily meals with both Chinese and Western options, including a variety of main dishes, sides, and soups, along with fresh fruits to ensure balanced nutrition.
爱莎科学城每日餐点涵盖中餐与西餐，搭配不同风味的主食、配菜及例汤，并提供新鲜水果，确保营养均衡。
All meals clearly indicate potential allergens, helping parents and students make safe choices.

The school also regularly hosts “Cultural Food Days,” giving students the chance to explore global cuisines while deepening their understanding of diverse cultures.

Boarding is an essential part of ISA’s holistic education. Boarding provides daily care and academic support, while regular dorm activities help students build friendships and cross-cultural connections.
寄宿是爱莎全人教育的重要组成部分。寄宿学生不仅在日常生活中得到充分关怀，还会在学术学习上得到辅导。与此同时，宿舍还会定期开展丰富活动，帮助学生建立跨文化交流与深厚友谊。
New boarding families will receive the “ISASC Boarding Important Information & Documents” and the “Boarding Handbook” by email. Please complete and return the required forms to ensure a smooth move-in.
所有新申请寄宿的家庭，将通过邮件收到《寄宿部重要信息及相关文件》与《住宿手册》。请家长按照指引填写必要文件，并通过邮件回复寄宿部，以便顺利完成入住准备。

On Orientation Day, secondary students can collect their laptops using the code provided in the “ISASC New Parent IT Service Guideline” email.

Parents can also review and sign the “Acceptable Use Policy” and “Laptop Use Agreement” online, and learn to use ManageBac, the school’s core teaching information system, to keep track of their child’s learning throughout the school year.
家长亦可根据《信息指南》在线签署《学生网络使用许可规定》和《电脑使用协议》，同时学习使用ManageBac这一学校核心教学信息系统，以在新学期实时了解孩子在校的学习情况。

Students can also order uniforms, choose CCA courses, and sign up for inter-campus activities — all in one place.
