On the morning of 13 June, ISA Tianhe International School in Guangzhou held a unique Chinese Cultural Exhibition. Students from Years 1 to 5 in the Chinese elective programme presented their year-long inquiry learning outcomes to the whole school community, including teachers, students, and parents. Through display boards and stage performances centred around five themes—Chinese Stories, the Twenty-Four Solar Terms, Chinese Characters, Chinese Poetry, and Lingnan Culture—the event attracted numerous participants to immerse themselves in the charm of Chinese culture.
6 月 13 日上午,广州天河爱莎外籍人员子女学校开展了一场独具特色的中国文化探究成果展活动,小学 1 至 5 年级中文选修班的学生围绕中国故事、二十四节气、汉字、中国诗词、岭南文化五大主题,将一学年的探究学习成果以展板展示与舞台汇演形式向全校师生及家长进行汇报,吸引众多参与者沉浸式感受中华文化魅力。

展区展示

In the display board div, students showcased their in-depth understanding of different cultural themes through handmade crafts, illustrated boards, and live presentations. At various exhibition stations, students from the Chinese Elective Programme not only explained the content of their thematic inquiries but also employed diverse presentation formats, allowing the audience to vividly experience the rich history and unique essence of Chinese culture.
展板展示部分,学生们通过手工艺品、图文展板及现场解说,立体展现了他们对不同文化主题的深入理解。在不同的展区,中文选修班的同学不仅具体介绍了每个主题探究学习的内容,还结合不同的汇报形式,让观众身临其境地感受中华文化的悠久历史和独特韵味。

Furthermore, the stage performances by all five year groups brought the atmosphere to its peak. Through poetry recitations, dances, stage plays, martial arts demonstrations, tea ceremonies, and interactive Q&A sessions, the students brought classic Chinese stories and Lingnan cultural features to life. They introduced the historical development of Chinese characters and ancient poetry, and explained the profound meaning behind the Twenty-Four Solar Terms. Their brilliant performances earned enthusiastic applause from the audience.
此外,五个年级的汇报演出将现场气氛推向了高潮。学生们以诗歌朗诵、舞蹈、舞台剧、拳舞、茶艺等多种形式,结合现场互动问题,生动地演绎了中国经典故事和岭南文化特色,介绍了汉字与古诗的历史发展,表现了二十四节气的丰富内涵,精彩的表演赢得了阵阵掌声。








This Chinese Culture Exhibition not only provided students with a platform to showcase themselves and exchange learning experiences but also built a bridge for cultural dialogue through innovative forms. It revitalised Chinese culture in a cross-cultural environment, enabling ISA students from diverse backgrounds to appreciate the inclusiveness and vitality of Chinese culture.
此次中文探究成果展不仅为同学们提供了一个展示自我、交流学习的平台,更以创新形式搭建了文化对话桥梁,让中华文化在跨文化环境中焕发新的活力,让多元文化背景的爱莎学子感受中国文化的包容性与生命力。
