从K3第二学期伊始，语文、数学、英语三门小学科任教师便每周固定一次走进幼儿园，为孩子们带来纯正的小学课堂体验。这种“由小学教师授课、在幼儿园开展”的创新课程安排，宛如一座桥梁，不仅帮助孩子提前熟悉小学的教学风格，还极大地增强了他们对“升入小学”这一重要转变的信心与期待。孩子们在熟悉的幼儿园环境中，感受着小学课堂的独特魅力，这种渐进式的过渡，让幼小衔接的过程充满了温暖与亲切。

我们深知，理论的讲解远不及亲身实践来得直观与深刻。因此，我们不仅将“小学课堂”巧妙地融入幼儿园，还精心策划了“沉浸式”的小学体验活动。在小学课程体验日中，孩子们兴奋地走进真实的小学教室，亲身感受规范的学习氛围和严谨的教室秩序；同时，他们还在小学食堂用餐，学习自主用餐、文明礼仪，逐步增强自理能力与规则意识。通过这样的亲身体验，孩子们不再只是“听说”小学，而是真正地“感受”小学，为即将到来的转变做好了心理和行为的双重准备，让小学生活不再遥不可及，而是触手可及的美好憧憬。

为了帮助孩子从认知层面深刻理解“成长”与“转变”的真正含义，我们以“我们身处什么时空”为探究主题，引领孩子们开启了一段关于成长、变化与转变的奇妙学习旅程。孩子们通过观察记录、沉浸式绘本阅读、精心制作成长档案、深入小学采访等多种形式，主动思考并大胆表达他们对成长与变化的独到见解，也在这个过程中逐渐建立起“我要长大”的强烈意识。这一主题探究，不仅完美延续了PYP课程的探究式学习模式，更让“幼小衔接”超越了单纯的知识衔接，成为一次思维、行为和情感的全方位、深度准备，为孩子们的未来发展奠定了坚实的基础。

Starting in the second term of K3, primary school subject teachers - in Chinese, Math, and English - come to the kindergarten once a week to teach lessons. These regular sessions give children a real taste of primary school learning, while staying in a familiar, comfortable setting. It helps reduce anxiety and builds excitement for what lies ahead.

In addition to classes, our K3 children also took part in immersive experience days at the primary school. They visited real primary school classrooms, joined lessons, and had lunch in the school cafeteria. These “immersion days” allowed them to practice rules, independence, and get a clear picture of what primary school life looks like - making the transition feel easier and more exciting.

In our final IB PYP unit, Where We Are in Place and Time, children explore the idea of growth and transition. Through drawings, interviews, stories, and building personal growth portfolios, they reflect on how much they’ve grown and what’s coming next. This unit helped children reflect on how they have grown, what changes they are experiencing, and what it means to move forward. It not only deepened their understanding of the transition ahead, but also strengthened their sense of readiness and excitement for primary school - both intellectually and emotionally.

We know that primary transition is not only academic - it’s emotional too. Teachers pay close attention to how children feel about moving up to primary school. Through picture books, role-play, small group talks, and daily conversations, children are guided to express both their excitement and any worries. We also offer family workshops and parent-child activities to build trust and support between home and school.
