New York University has announced a major reform: the official establishment of The Courant Institute School of Mathematics, Computing, and Data Science.

The newly-announced Courant Institute will include the Department of Mathematics, the Center for Data Science, and an expanded Department of Computer Science—which will be linked with the Tandon School’s Computer Science and Engineering department, positioning itself as a key accelerator for NYU's full-speed advancement in the field of technology.

CAIE (Cambridge Assessment International Education), affiliated with the University of Cambridge in the UK, is one of the world's most influential international education assessment bodies, covering over 10,000 schools in more than 160 countries and regions. Globally, CAIE operates 6 Administrative Zones, and schools in China should refer to information related to Zone 5. As the first among the three major international examination boards to launch summer examinations, its test period spans from April to June, with intensive subject scheduling. It is essential to verify the specific examination dates for each subject in advance to avoid schedule conflicts.  Examination Period: April 23, 2026 – June 9, 2026 (starting 2 days earlier than in 2025)

2025 Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects has been released. This year's ranking adds two cutting-edge disciplines, "Artificial Intelligence" and "Robotics Science & Engineering," expanding its coverage to 57 disciplines across five major fields: Natural Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences.

2025丘奖北美入围名单公布，三大赛区95支强队问鼎清华园总决赛

2025年的总决赛将于12月6-7日在清华大学举行，采用全英文答辩的方式进行考核。公示期结束后，确定入围总决赛的团队需提交最终版论文，答辩所用PPT，并进行答辩。今年共有95支队伍晋级全总决赛，其中数学16支，化学17支，生物15支，物理17支，计算机15支，经济金融建模15支。

丘成桐中学生科学奖：2008年由数学大师丘成桐先生发起设立的中学生科学创新类奖项，旨在促进青少年在科研领域的发展，并鼓励有才华且充满热情的青少年去探索科学的奥秘。

The final round of the 2025 Yau Award will be held at Tsinghua University on December 6-7. The assessment will be conducted through an all-English presentation. After the public announcement period ends, the teams that have been shortlisted for the final round must submit the final version of their papers, the PPTs used during the presentation, and attend the presentation. This year, a total of 95 teams advanced to the final round of the Yau Award, including 16 teams in mathematics, 17 teams in chemistry, 15 teams in biology, 17 teams in physics, 15 teams in computer science, and 15 teams in economic and financial modeling.

S.-T. Yau High School Science Award: In 2008, this science innovation award for high school students was initiated and established by the renowned mathematician Shing-Tung Yau . The Award is designed to promote the development of scientific research amongst youth and to encourage talented and enthusiastic teenagers to explore the mysteries of science.
